The purpose of our service is to inspect, teach and improve the energy performance of both planned and existing homes and buildings. 

Basic Home Energy Audit – You may not need a full energy audit. Sometimes a single room or area in a house or building can be too hot or too cold even when the rest of the house is comfortable. Our evaluation will include a complete visual inspection of mechanical systems, duct work, insulation, etc. associated with that room along with infrared scanning in that room to identify any hidden problems. You’ll receive a Basic Report that details our findings and recommendations for the most cost effective solution to correct the problem. Price $250.00.

Standard Home Energy Audit – This package includes a top-to-bottom visual inspection of your home and all associated mechanical systems, complete with blower door and infrared scanning to provides a comprehensive evaluation of your home or building. This package includes a complete Home Evaluation Report that gives you detailed information and prioritized recommendations for cost effective improvements that will help you save money. Price $425.00.

Standard Home Energy Audit and HERS Rating – This will give you all the benefits of a standard energy audit, but also includes modeling your home using computer software to annualize your home’s energy usage while giving you a complete cost-benefit analysis for each energy-saving recommendation, plus we calculate your home’s HERS (Home Energy Rating System) Index. Knowing your home’s HERS Index is the first step in rating your home energy use and how it compares to the US Department of Energy’s ENERGY STAR design homes. Price $665.00.
